FREMAP participated in the conference “From data to action: managing temporary disability and current challenges in occupational health”, organised by AEDIPE Navarra–La Rioja in collaboration with the University of La Rioja, held on 19 June in Logroño.

The meeting brought together experts from institutional, legal and business fields with the aim of analysing trends in temporary disability, its growing impact on organisations and good practices for its proper management.

During the session, FREMAP played a prominent role through the participation of two of its representatives. First, Antonio Cirujano González, Director of FREMAP’s Prevention Area, presented a detailed analysis of temporary disability in figures, addressing its trends and the main indicators that help to understand the current situation in occupational health.

For his part, Ángel Vallejo Orte, Secretary General of FREMAP, provided an in-depth analysis of the management of temporary disability arising from common contingencies, highlighting the role of Mutual Insurance Companies collaborating with Social Security and their contribution to improving system efficiency and supporting both companies and workers.

Rounding out the session was a presentation by Raúl Esteban Ruiz, Director of the Prevention and Health Service at the Adecco Group, who shared the model for managing temporary disability in the business environment, providing a practical and applied perspective.

With its participation, FREMAP reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement in occupational health and the sustainability of the Social Security system, actively contributing to the analysis, dissemination and promotion of solutions that help organisations address current challenges in managing temporary disability.
