FREMAP took part, in collaboration with the Spanish Society of Occupational Traumatology (SETLA), in a new edition of the Medical Expert Reporting Course held at the Official College of Physicians of Madrid, with the aim of continuing to promote technical training in the medical/legal field.
During the event, attendees were able to gain a deeper understanding of how the judicial process works and the essential role of medical expertise as a key tool for providing clarity, rigour and legal certainty in decision-making. The session took a highly practical approach that focused on providing knowledge applicable to professional practice.
The course featured Eduard Viver Bernardo, medical expert from FREMAP in Catalonia, and José Luis Velázquez Sánchez, National Director of FREMAP’s Legal Advisory Department for Benefits, who shared with SETLA physicians the key elements for developing effective medical expertise in the judicial context.
The quality in the preparation of expert reports not only contributes to a better resolution of legal proceedings, but also strengthens system efficiency and the sustainability of resources, allowing FREMAP to continue generating social value.
This initiative highlights FREMAP’s commitment to continuous training, shared knowledge and professional excellence, essential factors for progressing towards a more balanced, efficient system focused on societal wellbeing.
