Healthcare is generally provided by the Mutual Society Collaborating with the Social Security with which the company has arranged coverage for professional contingencies.

The right to healthcare arises from the very moment of the work-related accident or the diagnosis of the work-related illness.

Work-related accident means any bodily injury suffered by a worker on the occasion of or as a result of the work that they perform as an employee

Healthcare includes:

  • Clinical diagnosis and additional tests.
  • Medical and/or surgical treatment.
  • Intensive rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
  • Continuous medical monitoring and guided return to work.
  • Issuance medical certificates for sick leave, extension of sick leave and discharge.
  • Certificates of healthcare without leave when applicable.

Work-related Illness is a disease that has been contracted as a direct result of the work performed as an employee and caused by the action of elements, substances or factors specified in the official chart approved by current regulations.

The processing of Work-related Illnesses at FREMAP is noted for a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach, which includes:

  • Issuance of medical certificate for sick leave due to Work-related Illness.
